All about the XCM (Xeon Car Meets)’s Automation Challenge
XCM (Xeon Car Meets)’s Automation Challenge sets out to be the most complete ‘Beam-Focused’ Automation design challenge. It will take successful candidates through three immersive stages. Competitors will have to adopt a single story and brand. The vehicles made will cover years ranging from 1988 to 2008 and therefore require you to be adaptable, creative and resourceful.
Vehicles will be rated and ranked by hard metrics and a panel of tough critique. They are expected to have full interior and exterior fixtures. XCM will launches with many ‘canon-brands’ for you to test your mettle against and to kickstart the worldbuilding we intend to create.
Although most rules are in the Tutorial we have a few more additional rules as part of the FAQ.
Xeon’s challenge started through a group of friends wanting a way to judge and challenge each other in this game. We used these tests to judge which cars we’d add to our Beam.MP server. Its rules were still informal and made to keep the challenge fun, fair and competitive.
After asking around it seemed others in the game’s community wanted to contribute! So, we made the decision to open up. However, we are still going to stick to the rules we set for each other. We want you to be given the opportunity to contribute to our universe. We all put a lot of time and effort into the cars and brands we create, and we expect the same of you. We ask you to be respectful of the competition and of our group of friends. This includes decisions we make on lore and the cars we accept. We want to welcome you, and we’re glad that you can add to the lore fabric with us.
Good luck!
