Hot Lap is all about measuring a general sort of performance. It helps us establish how a car handles in wide turning and how it's aero copes with gentle bends.

1. Our ‘Team Racing Driver’ will aim to record 3 ‘Clean Laps’. These are laps that don't have more than two wheels at a time touching the grass. The Driver will make 7 attempts at the course.

2. The fastest of these 3 'Clean Laps' will be your 'Hot Lap'

3. The next 2 fastest 'Clean Laps' will then be put up against the fastest lap. If there is more than a 10% gap between them at the 'Hot Lap' you will recieve a slight penalty.

Lap times will be recorded to the nearest .1 of a second, rounding up.
