Founded in 1906, BIRD MOTORS (BM) was the company that brought the car to the American mass market. Founded in 1907 in Hell, Michigan, by Henry Bird who was a tycoon of the famous Bird Staples & Steel Company. Our first car, the ‘Model Statestar’ in 1909 took the world by storm and at one point made up to 40% of all cars sold in America. It relied on using tried and tested technologies in a way that fit the modern world. Today, nearly a century later, BIRD MOTORS continues to deliver a market leading experience of American motoring.
